The valiant man was living joyously till he became a leper. Fortunately, NAAMAN had a good wife who also often expressed her displeasure about his sickly state. This would always attract their servant - an Israelite, into singing the praises of Elisha to them. Many people have been held captive by what others think of them. They are afraid to stand for the truth. When people criticize you for one thing or the other, do you forsake your calling? Don’t forget you are not accountable to man but to God. Paul persecuted and killed the Christians in his day. But he became a new person after his encounter with Jesus on the way to Damascus. Some of the people found it difficult to admit that he had changed. And even when he spoke and preached about Christ, some were not convinced. MOSES

  MEANING OF NAME : Drawn forth or taken out of water. PROFILE OR CHARACTER : historian, orator, leader, statesman, legislator and a patriot. REGRET : Moses could not enter the promised land. JOY : Not only did he successfully bring out the Israelites from Egypt, but he had the privilege to be called, " Friend of God."  STORY IN BRIEF:   MOSES, a son of Jechrobe and Amram, and the last of Aeron and Miriam. THE GREATEST WEAPON !

  “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds…. “ 2 Corinthians 10:4 KJV As christians, we are not improverished of ammunitions with which to withstand the enemy and his wiles. Yet these weapons are variably effective. There is, therefore, the need to look into the nature of each of them and reasonably determine the most productive. According to Paul, in the preceding scripture, our arms are not physical; prayer, praise/worship, faith, obedience and Light, are all rather abstract though results-yielding. Now, which of these does satan fear most? Let us find out from the following paragraphs. Prayer is a good arm. It transforms both on the inside and on the outside of us. REVELATION ( PART 1 )


" The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things REVEALED belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law."

Deuteronomy 29:29

REVELATION can be defined as that unique inspirational illumination of the mind in virtue of which the recipient conceives such thoughts as God desires him to commit to writing, but may not necessarily involve supernatural communication. It is a special understanding brought forth through contemplations or focus.

Revelation is Light; Light that unveils the nature, ways, plans and purpose of God to us through the scriptures, creatures, His son – The Lord Jesus, events ( historical and present ) and miracles.

In this section, we share on the two major types of revelation and their channels. Rightly Following are the these two types of revelation.

GENERAL REVELATION

These are revelations obtained from God through The Lord Jesus, creatures and people. For declaring that He and His father are one, we understand that we can God by imitating the ways of Jesus. When the stars fought against Sisera, we understand that even God’s creatures have instincts that comply with the WILL and POWER of God. And now, everyone, irrespective of their religious background, has a conscience that guides him or her. Afterall, we were made in the likeness of God Himself.

SPECIFIC REVELATION

These illuminations are obtained through history or experiences, and the scriptures. Moses’ attention was drawn to God by the unconsumed burning bush. God’s Word is also a sure source of LIGHT. From Genesis through the book of Revelation, God progressively shows us His divine nature or attributes. ( John 1:1, Revelation 19:13, Hebrews 1:3 )

According to our opening verse, we can only lay hands on that which is revealed. So let us be more desirous of God’s Lights in order to make greater exploits in Him.
