Yet these weapons are variably effective. There is, therefore, the need to look into the nature of each of them and reasonably determine the most productive. According to Paul, in the preceding scripture, our arms are not physical; prayer, praise/worship, faith, obedience and Light, are all rather abstract though results-yielding. Now, which of these does satan fear most? Let us find out from the following paragraphs. Prayer is a good arm. It transforms both on the inside and on the outside of us. But if prayer is a request, then satan can pray too; he got far into God’s presence, requesting of His permission to try Job. He demanded of The Lord to sift Peter like wheat. SHUN DISTRACTIONS !

  “And still the Christians in the churches in Judea didn’t know me personally. All they knew was that people were saying, “The one who used to persecute us is now preaching the very faith he tried to destroy!” And they praised God because of me” (Gal. 1:22-24, NLT). Many people have been held captive by what others think of them. They are afraid to stand for the truth. When people criticize you for one thing or the other, do you forsake your calling? Don’t forget you are not accountable to man but to God. Paul persecuted and killed the Christians in his day. But he became a new person after his encounter with Jesus on the way to Damascus. Some of the people found it difficult to admit that he had changed. And even when he spoke and preached about Christ, some were not convinced. EZEKIEL

  MEANING OF NAME: God is strong or The Man God strengthens STORY IN BRIEF: Ezekiel, son of Buzzi, like Jeremiah, started first as a priest, but later had the calling of a Prophet at age thirty. He served in the Temple of Jerusalem that was later destroyed by the Babylonians. In the midst of events, God warned that the desire of his eye would die. REVELATION ( PART 1 )


" The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things REVEALED belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law."

Deuteronomy 29:29

REVELATION can be defined as that unique inspirational illumination of the mind in virtue of which the recipient conceives such thoughts as God desires him to commit to writing, but may not necessarily involve supernatural communication. It is a special understanding brought forth through contemplations or focus.

Revelation is Light; Light that unveils the nature, ways, plans and purpose of God to us through the scriptures, creatures, His son – The Lord Jesus, events ( historical and present ) and miracles.

In this section, we share on the two major types of revelation and their channels. Rightly Following are the these two types of revelation.

GENERAL REVELATION

These are revelations obtained from God through The Lord Jesus, creatures and people. For declaring that He and His father are one, we understand that we can God by imitating the ways of Jesus. When the stars fought against Sisera, we understand that even God’s creatures have instincts that comply with the WILL and POWER of God. And now, everyone, irrespective of their religious background, has a conscience that guides him or her. Afterall, we were made in the likeness of God Himself.

SPECIFIC REVELATION

These illuminations are obtained through history or experiences, and the scriptures. Moses’ attention was drawn to God by the unconsumed burning bush. God’s Word is also a sure source of LIGHT. From Genesis through the book of Revelation, God progressively shows us His divine nature or attributes. ( John 1:1, Revelation 19:13, Hebrews 1:3 )

According to our opening verse, we can only lay hands on that which is revealed. So let us be more desirous of God’s Lights in order to make greater exploits in Him.
