THE SHUNAMITE WOMAN

  She lived in Jezreel, specifically along a road that links Jerusalem to Bethlehem. Being a generous woman, she agreed with her husband and made a resting place on the top of their building for Elisha who mostly plied that road. One day, when the shunamite saw Elisha travelling the road again with his servant she invited them over into her house and showed her kindness so much to the Prophet's satisfaction. Thus, Elisha sought through his servant, Geharzi, to reward her gesture but the woman sharply objected to it. The Prophet then asked his servant if there was any favour he could use his influence with the King of Israel to offer her but the woman would still reject that offer. So he asked Geharzi to suggest a reward for the woman. When the servant mentioned that the woman had no child, Elisha declared that they would have one a year's time from then, which the Lord also fulfilled. REAPING THE HARVEST

  To everything, there is a season - a time to sow, and a time to reap; the farmer ( sower ) certainly has his time of harvest but until he waters his seeds, rids the wheats of the tares and applies the fertilizer he is not guaranteed a good yield. So also is every other sower. Until harvest time comes, there is always something we must do in order to maximize our yield. Some of these are explained below: 1. Clear the weeds from your field “And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.”—Genesis 2:15, KJV The word translated keep in Hebrew means “to put a hedge of thorns around, to watch over; to guard, protect and safeguard.” When a farmer plants seed in a garden, he doesn’t just walk away and hope for the best. No! He has much to do to protect his crop. And so do you. What can choke your crop? Walking outside of love. This includes unforgiveness, bitterness and strife. So, keep a watch on your heart, pull the “weeds” out by the root...

  MEANING OF NAME:   Acquisition, fabrication or possessed.  STORY IN BRIEF: Eldest son of Adam and Eve, the first man to be born naturally, and founder of the family of Kenites (Kenite is called Kain in the Hebrew) The terrible story of Cain proves how quickly man’s fallen nature developed. THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

  "...that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we have gazed upon, and our hands have handled,..." John 1:1 If you consider your circle now, you will conclude that friends with whom you have similar personality outnumber those with deferring personality. You should also notice that, often times, you suddenly meet with or receive calls from, those you strongly  think of and long to see. These are manifestations of the Law of Attraction ! " The heart is DEEP beyond all things... " Jeremiah 17:9 Brenton Septuagint Translation. And Psalm 42:7 says DEEP calleth unto DEEP. REVELATION ( PART 1 )


" The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things REVEALED belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law."

Deuteronomy 29:29

REVELATION can be defined as that unique inspirational illumination of the mind in virtue of which the recipient conceives such thoughts as God desires him to commit to writing, but may not necessarily involve supernatural communication. It is a special understanding brought forth through contemplations or focus.

Revelation is Light; Light that unveils the nature, ways, plans and purpose of God to us through the scriptures, creatures, His son – The Lord Jesus, events ( historical and present ) and miracles.

In this section, we share on the two major types of revelation and their channels. Rightly Following are the these two types of revelation.

GENERAL REVELATION

These are revelations obtained from God through The Lord Jesus, creatures and people. For declaring that He and His father are one, we understand that we can God by imitating the ways of Jesus. When the stars fought against Sisera, we understand that even God’s creatures have instincts that comply with the WILL and POWER of God. And now, everyone, irrespective of their religious background, has a conscience that guides him or her. Afterall, we were made in the likeness of God Himself.

SPECIFIC REVELATION

These illuminations are obtained through history or experiences, and the scriptures. Moses’ attention was drawn to God by the unconsumed burning bush. God’s Word is also a sure source of LIGHT. From Genesis through the book of Revelation, God progressively shows us His divine nature or attributes. ( John 1:1, Revelation 19:13, Hebrews 1:3 )

According to our opening verse, we can only lay hands on that which is revealed. So let us be more desirous of God’s Lights in order to make greater exploits in Him.
