UNDERSTANDING THE WILL OF GOD !

" Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's WILL is." Ephesians 5:17. The WILL of God is basically WHAT God wants us to do or say at a point in time. It is also HOW He likes us to do or say WHAT He wants us to do or say. The WHAT refers to the OPTION He wants us to pick out of the lot; the HOW stands for the WAY or METHOD by which we carry out His recommended OPTION. The Lord Jesus, God's Living WILL , did not say He is The WAY and The TRUTH only. He actually said,  " I am the WAY, and the TRUTH, and THE LIFE..." John 14:6. So you see, God's WILL is beyond WHAT and HOW. It includes THE LIFE as well. God's WILL also shows us the lifestyle He wants us to live. And that, definitely must be His Life as lived by The Lord, Jesus , during His earthly Ministry ! ANNA

MEANING: Grace. SORROW: As a widow, she would probably have been among the most vulnerable members of society, with no one to provide for her financially or to take care of her if her health failed. JOY: That her own eyes beheld the Messiah she had longed to see. STORY IN BRIEF: Anna, a Prophetess from the tribe of Asher, became a widow after seven years of marriage. She spent whole of her widowhood fasting and praying to God. Anna worshipped in Herod's temple. This temple had tour segments - the outer court for Gentiles or non-Jews; the inner court divided into Women's and Israelites'; the Priestly court for the Leviticus Priests which also surrounded the temple. Anna could only access the Women's court yet God was merciful to her - She witnessed the Messiah; while Anna worshipped in the temple one day, Someon came holding the baby Jesus in his laps. ERIC JESHURUN EXPRESSES HIS CONCERN FOR GHANAIAN CHURCHES - CHRISTIAN NEWS

  Eric Jeshurun,  Ghanaian Gospel Singer has shared his worries on How Ghanaian Music Right Organising ( GHAMRO ) may oppose churches in Ghana. The argument on churches paying for use of intellectual property of gospel musicians appears not to be ending any soon  as another gospel musician, Eric  Jeshrun, has described the ap proach by GHAMRO as problematic . GHAMRO's administrator Abraham Adjetey, seven days earlier, announced their resolution to ensure churches pay for using the intellectual prop- erty of gospel musician. But Eric Jeshrun, who is also a broadcaster, told Christian Agyei Frimpong on Onua FM that one of the challenges Africa presently faces with respect to taxes is the same challenges GHAMRO's decision will face. SAUL

 



MEANING OF NAME: ASKED FOR OR DEMANDED


STORY IN BRIEF:

Saul, son of Kirsh, and the first king of Israel was installed in a private manner by Samuel as the people would not accept Samuel's suggestion for the need of a King.


Saul was not only anointed; the Spirit of God also filled him. For which reason he ably won some battles with the Israelites in the early years of his reign. And his followers would publicly recognise him thereafter.


However, Samuel denounced Saul as King of Israel because God had rejected him for the blunders he committed - Saul autocratically made vows and patronised superstitions.


David, whom Samuel anointed as the new king, was constantly hunted by Saul till he escaped to Philistia. So Saul only succeeded in sowing some form of discord between his children ( Michal and Jonathan) and David.


Before his last fight against the Philistines, Saul still revoked the ghost of Samuel by the help of Nichomancers for some words courage, yet he was still rejected; Saul and his children lost their lives.
